Thorough knowledge of the range and scope of services provided by the various agencies and programs serving youth with complex emotional/ behavioral health challenges.
- Supervises staff to include preparing performance planning and evaluation documents and related personnel paperwork. Coaches, counsels and trains employees. Establishes and monitors work processes. Implements management policies and initiatives and promotes teamwork.
- Provides supervision and coaching for up to 7 staff utilizing the Wraparound model.
- Provides clinical oversight for services including the review of medical necessity, Medicaid Targeted Case Management, assessments, crisis plans, Rehabilitative Behavior Health Services, and Plan of Cares according to agency best practice and Medicaid standards.
- Will obtain certification as a State Wraparound coach and must remain in good standing with National Wraparound requirements and SC Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to determining appropriateness of referrals, contracted services, service note review; productivity reporting and youth assignment.
- A master's degree in a human services or social services related field with at least two (2) years of experience with case management, two (2) years of experience with children with complex emotional and/or behavioral challenges, and one (1) year of supervisory experience; OR a master's degree in a human services or social services related field with one (1) year of High Fidelity Wraparound case management experience and one (1) year of experience working with children with complex emotional and/or behavioral health challenges.
- Incumbent must be licensed and in good standing as a LMSW, LPC, LISW-CP, or LMFT in South Carolina. Incumbent will obtain certification as a State Wraparound coach within established time frame, and must remain in good standing with National Wraparound requirements and SC Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation.
- Considerable knowledge, skills and experience in clinical treatment or care coordination services.
- Considerable knowledge of the unique treatment needs of youth with mental health challenges and their families.
- Considerable knowledge of agency administrative policies and procedures.
- Ability to provide clinical oversight and supervision to staff of varying backgrounds, training and experience.
- Position requires routine driver duties.
- Position may require employee to work evenings and weekends.
- Position may require overnight travel.
- Position requires non-essential declaration.
- Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license.
- Position may be required to report to work during emergency situations.
- Position may require overnight travel, and incumbent may be required to report to work during emergency or hazardous weather situations.
- Certification of a negative TB test is required prior to employment.
- Upon hiring candidate must submit an official college transcript or diploma for degree(s) obtained.
