- This position is located at the Aiken-Barnwell Mental Health Center, 1135 Gregg Highway, Aiken, SC 29803.
- This position will require travel between both Aiken and Barnwell Counties.
- Carries out the services of the supported employment program by assisting patients in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment that is consistent with their vocational goals and recovery.
- Maintains a direct service time (direct clinical services to patients).
- Ensures caseload meets supported employment fidelity requirements and provides only employment services to assigned caseload.
- Ensure fidelity of model.
- Directly places clients in diverse and different competitive employment based on patient's preferences, strengths, abilities and needs and in jobs that have permanent status paying at least minimum wage.
- Assists in job development in local community by providing education and support to employers.
- Carries out all phases of employment service including intake, assessment, job placement, job coaching, and follow-along supports.
- Majority of employment services are provided in the community.
- Completes clinical documentation using collaborative documentation and according to SCDMH policy and procedures.
- Complies with the Corporate Compliance Policy and Risk Management Plan.
- Pursues professional development through collegial consultation, continuing educational activities and professional licensure in SC.
- Participates in group supervision, collaborates with treatment team members and SCVRD and educates community about IPS Program.
- Ensures that patient satisfaction and symptom reduction are measured and reported on a regular, on-going basis.
- Performs other duties as needed.
- A high school diploma and relevant human services or social services experience.
- A bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience in counseling
and /or behavior modification program experience.
- One year post graduate experience in counseling and/or behavior modification program.
- Knowledge of intensive in-home or community services model.
- Understanding of abnormal psychology and treatment.
- Supervision provided by the Community Rehabilitation and Support Program Manager.
- Employee will need to work independently as well as with CRS Team.
- Requires ability to lift 5lbs.
- Operate a state vehicle.
- Flexible schedule
- Will require travel in Aiken and Barnwell Counties.
- Position is considered essential and may be called back during crises/disasters/emergencies.
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Salary : $32,686 - $60,471
