Responsibilities
- Instructional Development: Develop and maintain course documentation, select textbooks, maintain audio-visual materials, and ensure effective class scheduling.
- Teaching Performance: Provide students with clear course syllabi, grading policies, and other relevant information; relate instructional examples and illustrations; pace instruction over the semester; and return test results in a timely manner.
- Student Advisement: Maintain office hours, publicize availability, refer students to other resources, and meet with students in a timely manner.
- College and/or Community Service: Assist with recruitment, job placement, and community projects; serve on committees and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Instructional Management: Submit reports, arrange physical environments, provide classroom supervision, and maintain accurate records.
- Professional Development: Develop an annual professional development plan, attend courses and workshops, and engage in research projects.
