What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Svc Spec I - Attendant - DINE position at State of South Carolina?
Prepares and/or cooks meats, vegetables, sandwiches, soups, gravies and various other products. Serves food from food lines. Assists with cooking, baking, or meat-cutting tasks in a trainee status. Clean and sanitize tables and chairs. Sweep and mop floors between meals. Clean bathrooms between meals and as needed during shift. Operate deep fat fryers, griddles, toasters, and similar equipment. Assist with lifting of objects weighing 25 or more lbs.A high school diploma. Ability to stoop, bend, and stand for long periods. Ability to work in cohesion with team members. Must have a valid SC Driver's license.Knowledge of methods, materials and appliances used in food preparation and service.
