What are the responsibilities and job description for the GEAR UP Student Success Specialist position at State of South Carolina?
• Case manages a cohort of students to monitor academic progress and initiate referrals to appropriate academic support services.
• Design and implement workshops on student success based on participants' needs.
• Provide academic advising to participants including support with course selection each term and the development of long-term educational plans.
• Document all services and interactions with students.
• Work with Central Carolina Consortium GEAR UP to provide updates on student progress and provide any needed data.
• Some travel between campuses required.
• Time limited position until August 30, 2025
Bachelor’s degreeBachelor’s degree and two years of experience in higher education or case management.Part-Time:
