The SC Nexus Education and Workforce Grant Administrator for the South Carolina Technical College System will lead the Education and Workforce grant project and is responsible for ensuring deliverables outlined are accomplished. Responsible for full implementation of the grant project, including partner coordination, drafting policies and procedures, hiring and supervising grant staff, monitoring the progress of grant goals and timelines, and preparing required programmatic reports. Also, will facilitate the development of other initiatives related to SC Nexus. Ensure the effectiveness of the grant project and services to the grant participants are in compliance with the guidelines of the Division of Economic Development and as outlined by the Economic Development Administration (EDA). Works in collaboration with the respective System Office divisions, EDA, the 16 technical colleges, and other partners to ensure compliance with guidelines in fiscal reporting and grant activities associated with the project. Oversee and manage the scope of work, budget, and schedules for the grant project to ensure project deliverables are attained and within budget as set forth by the grant. Oversee the collection of data from colleges and businesses regarding trainee data and initiative metrics to ensure alignment with grant goals. Represent the Division of Economic Development during appropriate meetings and events designed to promote the grant initiative and its scholarships at local, regional and state-level meetings pertaining to the grant, workforce development and economic development to promote the System Initiative and enhance competence.
A bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration or the social sciences and experience in contracts and grant administration activities. Experience in management of multi-partner, large-scale, workforce development programs and federal grants. Must have direct experience managing multi-million-dollar federal grants. Experience in workforce development; Experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences; Demonstrated success in meeting goals and creative problem-solving; Experience in management of complex products or services. Experience in supervising multiple staff members; Must maintain cordial professional relations with colleagues and stakeholders and communicate effectively and efficiently orally and in writing. Must be self-driven to work independently, as well as part of a team. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting laws, policies and procedures pertaining to the assigned programs areas.
Salary : $56,210 - $104,000
