Job Title
We are seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Professional to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our buildings and grounds.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine custodial duties to keep all assigned areas clean and well-maintained.
- Clean and maintain offices, lobby areas, storage and work areas.
- Assist with moving or setting up furniture and chairs as needed.
- Replace fluorescent light bulbs and lubricate hardware systematically when needed.
- Make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment and furniture.
- Maintain sufficient inventory for assigned building.
- Perform daily housekeeping duties for the assigned dormitory.
- Maintain grounds by performing grounds-keeping tasks to ensure grounds are safe and inviting.
