Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning and revising curriculum, maintaining posted office hours, teaching varying schedules, including nights, at a variety of locations, utilizing technology in instruction, and using a variety of teaching methods.
This position requires a master's degree in mathematics or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in mathematics (education courses are excluded).Two (2) years teaching experience at the community college level is highly preferred. Candidates must be willing to teach levels of mathematics ranging from basic math through calculus, including probability and statistics, discrete mathematics, and contemporary mathematics. Must be willing to travel to locations in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties, including TTC satellite campuses and high school campuses. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
