This position is located with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, Beckman Center for Mental Health Services, Abbeville County. This position will serve Calhoun Falls Family Practice, Pendergrass Family Practice, and Lakelands Family Practice.
Under general supervision, provides treatment and educational services to children, adolescents and their families experiencing serious emotional disturbance and adults with a serious mental illness. Mental health services will be provided in a culturally competent manner, which will include but not be limited to, assessment, crisis management, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.State Requirements: A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or related field.
Agency Requirements: Must qualify for credentialing and privileging as a mental health professional and in accordance with Quality Assurance standards and with concurrence by DMH Office of Quality Management.

Preferred Qualifications: One year post master’s experience is preferred.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
