At the office of Materials and Research (OMR), the responsibilities includes:
Performs laboratory testing of highway construction materials in areas such as concrete, steel, aggregates, soils, and cement. Performs and checks calculations, prepares sample test reports, and utilizes relevant applications for documenting results.
Assists with OMR field operations in areas such as pavement evaluation, asphalt inspection, and geotechnical investigations.
Assists OMR materials engineers with special projects, investigations, literature reviews, and research.
Pay Rate is between $17.00 - $23.00/per hour depending on qualifications.
