Job Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Program Services Coordinator. Assist with placement of cadets prior to the cycle ending. Responsible for making contact with mentors and/or cadets during the Post Residential Phase for 12 months to ensure cadets are in a positive placement. Responsible to receive proper documentation during the first month of placement and placed in the cadet’s file. All contacts must be documented. During the Post-Residential Phase, record placement activities, such as employment, education, military, and miscellaneous (volunteer, caregiver, disabled/hospitalized or incarcerated). Document mentoring relationship and cadet placement activities in the data management system by Friday of each week. Coordinate services being provided; arrange resources and participate in meetings concerning cadets. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; trainings; reading professional publications. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and 4 years of experience with placement and working with youth.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
Additional Comments
Knowledge of agency policies, procedures, regulations and program services.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to communicate effectively, written and orally. The ability to exercise judgment and discretion. The ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies within the scope of case management. The ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
