At DEW, our people are the most important resource. We’re looking for a skilled recruiter to join our Human Resources team to help us find the right people for the right roles. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recruiting top talent to support our Agency’s growth and success. This position will play a crucial role in attracting a high-performing talent pool by identifying and engaging candidates who are a great fit for our culture and values.

Minimum And Additional Requirements
A bachelor's degree and relevant human resources experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. A master's degree in human resources management may substitute for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of state and federal recruitment policies, laws and practices. Excellent customer service and oral, written and phone communication. Experience in recruiting and hiring. Ability to complete assignments timely and with limited supervision.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Partner with the employment team and managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and requirements. Advises and provides guidance to managers and supervisors on the recruitment and employment process.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with potential candidates on DEW’s job opportunities and ensures a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Drafts and disseminates attractive and well-written job postings through online job search platforms.
- Manages the Department of Employment & Workforce's internal agency recruitment efforts and acts as the agency’s recruitment coordinator between available DEW positions, state career event partners and organizations, and candidates throughout the state.
- Manages the recruitment system accounts including the State Jobs website, LinkedIn, and other online recruitment platforms. Manages logs and data for recruitment events.
- Coordinates, schedules and attends various in-person and virtual career fairs around the state.
- Develops and maintains a network of qualified talent throughout the State. Contacts job seekers via phone, email and in person to connect them with DEW job opportunities.
- Manages the agency's position description and performance management system as well as telecommuting program for the agency.
