Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Counseling Services Director, the Clinical Supervisor manages counseling within the Student Advocacy and Trauma Support (SATS) area and provides therapy services to students who have experienced sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking and bias-related crimes.
- Provides counseling services to clients affected by sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, and / or stalking as a priority.
Provides counseling services to clients affected by crimes or discrimination based on bias related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnic origin, or religion, as needed.
Maintains proper documentation of all services provided.
Manages SATS clinical staff and day-to-day operations : Coordinates the hiring, training and supervision process for SATS counselors and clinical interns; completes annual and other performance evaluations; develops, updates and manages policies and procedures; and gathers and analyzes service data for routine reports and program evaluation.
Works collaboratively with a broad range of colleagues to promote community awareness and communicate the availability of services for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and bias crimes or discrimination through educational programming.
Coordinates consultation and peer support within the Center for Student Wellness and actively participates in weekly peer supervision meetings.
Maintains effective professional relationships with key Winthrop and Rock Hill community members.
Responds to campus and community inquiries for consultation.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Currently licensed in South Carolina as Licensed Psychologist, LPC, LMFT or LISW-CP.
Trauma-focused clinical training.
Experience working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, and stalking.
Experience managing and supervising clinical staff and / or clinical interns.
Multicultural competence and ability to build meaningful rapport with people regardless of gender, age, race, culture, sexual preference or gender identity.
Ability to provide culturally sensitive individual, couples and group behavioral health services to students who are victims of crimes, including sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, stalking, or crimes or discrimination based on bias against gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnic origin or religion.
Ability to provide emergency coverage and crisis intervention.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Ability to supervise and manage clinical staff.
Preferred Qualifications
Trauma or trauma-related certification.
Experience with social media management and digital content creation.

Annual Salary / Hiring Range : $55,435; 30 hours per week
