Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Associate to the Dean of the College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences, the Program Director leads implementation of the South Carolina Residencies Impacting Schoolwide Equity (SC RISE) grant and ongoing operations, including facilitating Leadership Team meetings, coordinating professional development and residency activities, supervising and mentoring staff, providing fiscal management, and supporting program evaluation.
Doctorate in education-related field.

Travel/Overtime Requirements: Occasional in-state travel and work outside regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
Annual Salary/Hiring Range: Up to $80,000; actual salary depends on qualifications as they relate to the job duties/requirements.

- Leads implementation of the federal grant program by facilitating Leadership Team and Steering Committee meetings, overseeing day-to-day operations, and coordinating professional development and residency activities.
- Collaborates with principal investigator, other higher education partners, and external evaluator to manage the program budget and impact measures for stakeholder information and annual project reporting.
- Manages SC RISE program office: Supervises an administrative assistant; creates and distributes program information to the general public; communicates with other units on campus regarding finance, marketing, etc.; and manages conflict and resolves issues that arise.
- Master’s degree in education or a related field.
- Successful experience with school-university partnerships.
- At least three years of experience with teacher preparation.
- Experience making data-based decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Proven ability to make data-based decisions.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Independent work ethic.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and externalgroups.
- Ability to supervise and mentor staff.
