Job Responsibilities
Prepares supplies, equipment, and simulation labs for sessions in the Simulation Center and Workforce Pathways programs. Sets up items for sessions as instructed by the Simulation Center Director and Workforce Pathway Instructor as outlined in set-up guides/pictures. Exhibits a strong sense of attention to detail and time management skills to perform set-ups accurately and promptly. Once sessions are complete, switches set-ups for the next day’s sessions. Returns equipment and supplies to storage rooms provide maintenance to them and organize them so they will be ready for the next session.
This position requires a related degree and experience.

- Sets up medical supplies, task trainers, and simulator accessories such as armbands and wigs for simulation sessions
- Maintains condition of reusable supplies (i.e. re-packaging catheter kits, re-filling IV bags, pushing compressed air through IV tubing)
- Washes and folds laundry
- Performs inventories of medical supplies in storage rooms and medications within medication dispensing machines, and notifies Director when items need to be ordered
- Un-boxes received supplies and sorts items to appropriate locations in storage rooms
- Maintains organization in storage rooms
- Packages full sharps containers according to OSHA standards and contacts the hazardous waste company for removal
