What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Assessor position at State of South Carolina?
As a Technical Assessor, the primary responsibility is to administer recertification assessments and educate students to standard proficiency levels in aerospace manufacturing. Administer recertification assessments for specified skill sets in accordance with Boeing's policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Qualify and conduct training in compliance with Boeing standards and policy. Deliver courses as written including check in of participants. Ensure all materials are in the classroom, checking of pre-requisites and pre-work. Clean up classrooms at end of class. Assist in maintaining the Recertification Lab in a high state of readiness in compliance with Boeing's 5S and safety requirements. Maintain proficiency in respective assessment and course requirements.
A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in training, manufacturing, and/or military training, or an associate’s degree and two (2) years relevant experience in training, manufacturing, and/or military training, or a high school diploma and four (4) years relevant experience in training, manufacturing, and/or military training.
Compliance in maintaining proprietary information. Comply with Boeing’s policies, procedures and safety requirements. Able to work safely with chemicals, solvents and hazardous materials on a daily basis such as MPK, Alcohols, Alodine, Sealants, Composites, etc. Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Ability to conduct assessments and training while standing for 3 or more hour sessions. Able to provide own transportation to deliver training at multiple training sites.
Two (2) years of aerospace training and/or manufacturing experience.
This readySC position is located at the Boeing Factory in North Charleston.
Salary : $38,985 - $72,134
