Under limited supervision, assist the helpdesk in resolving user needs and documenting all work. This position will also provide detailed information on equipment currently installed in offices to keep all employees updated.Troubleshoots, repairs, and resolves moderately complex software and device issues.Install, configure, troubleshoot and repair all computing equipment, printers, scanners, and projectors; provide full computer software installation and configuration.Run checklists for employee onboarding and off-boarding procedures.Document common issues, update the self-service knowledgebase, and create how-to documentation.Assist in all areas of Information Technology as requested by the IT Manager.This position also includes an excellent benefits package: Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility.Paid parental leave.Health, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance for employees, spouses, and children.Fifteen days of annual (vacation) per year.Fifteen days of sick leave per year.Thirteen paid holidays.State Retirement Plan and Deferred Compensation Programs.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
A high school diploma and experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or information processing in a data processing environment or related systems. A degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. At least 2 years of customer service experience.Additional Requirements: Position requires a valid driver's license and frequent driver duties.Position requires frequent lifting: 50 lbs.
