In this position you will perform the following job duties:
- Prepare & assist eligible South Carolinians with disabilities to achieve and maintain competitive employment by coordinating services to include vocational counseling, guidance, job search and direct placement.
- Develop and maintain community relationships that result in referrals and applications for SCVR services
- Conduct and coordinate vocational assessments and career exploration that leads to the development of an individualized plan for employment (IPE).
- Complete caseload management activities weekly
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Mental Health
or
Bachelor’s Degree in any other field with professional experience in human services, social services or related field is preferred. - Should be able to communicate effectively to establish and maintain effective working relationships with consumers, vendors, employers, and coworkers.
- Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
