Minimum Salary: $21.66 (Non-Engineer Students) and $24.42 (Engineer Students)
Interns will be involved in a variety of engineering related activities performed in support of design, construction, or maintenance of state highway construction projects. Interns will further their knowledge and abilities in the civil engineering field. Specific duties may include participating on survey crew, materials testing, project inspection, data collection and verification, or other engineering related activities. Duties are primarily performed outdoors and are physical in nature.
All students are encouraged to apply, but preference may be given to applicants with a standing of junior/senior, South Dakota residents, and students of South Dakota institutions.
