Parks/Grounds Maintenance (Seasonal)
The main objective of maintenance personnel is to maintain all park areas and facilities to management standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure they meet management standards.
- Perform custodial duties including daily and weekly cleaning of comfort stations and outdoor toilets.
- Empty fire-rings, stock cleaning supplies, and remove garbage.
- Conduct building and facility maintenance, including new construction, renovation, and routine repairs.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Skills in operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment such as mowers, grass trimmers, tractors, weed sprayers, and trucks.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, work independently, manage time well, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
About the Position
This is a temporary or seasonal, non-benefited position that is exempt from civil service.
