Job Overview :
The Tennessee Military Department is currently accepting resumes and cover letters for the position of Budget Analysis Director 3. This position will report to the Fiscal Director 3 and participate in the maintenance of detailed budget and fiscal records for the Military Department including Tennessee Army National Guard, Tennessee Air National Guard, Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA), Administrative Services Division and the Tennessee State Guard.
Key Responsibilities :
- Report directly to the Fiscal Director 3 and participate in the maintenance of detailed budget and fiscal records and reports for the Military Department including Army Guard, Air Guard and Administration.
- Responsible for the proper development, submission, and administration of a budget for the largest operating department and supervision of the largest professional budget analytic staff, under the Fiscal Director 3 leadership.
- Coordinate and collaborate with program managers in TEMA, Army Guard, and Air Guard staff regarding operating budgets to facilitate information to the Fiscal Director.
- Oversight of Agency contractual requirements across multitude of contractual policies and award efforts with Central Procurement office.
- Perform fiscal analysis and help facilitate visual reporting metrics.
- Plan and participate in the development and maintenance for staff work relative to operating department budget of largest size and complexity.
- Assign, train, supervise, and evaluate subordinate sub professional staff and their work to include performance management, new hire, promotions, time and leave and all other supervisory functions.
- Assist with coordination and enforcement of policy relative to the development, maintenance, use of allocated funds while working with cooperative agreements, grants, state allocations for monitoring and approval of departmental contracts.
