What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guardian ad Litem Attorney - 4th, 5th, & 6th Districts - Multiple Counties position at State of Utah?
The Guardian ad Litem Attorney I is an entry-level position with up to three years of law experience. The incumbent must be an active Utah State Bar Association member in good standing. An attorney Guardian ad Litem is appointed by the court to provide legal representation and coordinate assistance to abused, neglected, or abandoned children. The duties of the Guardian ad Litem Attorney are outlined in Utah Code section 78A-2-803. This position requires excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
