General Maintenance Worker II - Salt Lake Detention Center
Do you enjoy trouble shooting, fixing repairs and feeling a sense of accomplishment in your job? If so, this may be the job for you! We are looking for a motivated individual who would like to contribute to making a difference in our facility.
Principal Duties
- Mowing lawns & trimming trees/ bushes
- Repairing and servicing lawn and ground equipment
- Ordering parts and supplies
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
- Eliminating safety hazards
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Building, fabricating, or repairing structures or equipment
- Cleaning and maintaining floors, windows, furniture, garbage etc.
- Performing general facility maintenance including painting, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, etc.
- Using and operating a variety of tools and equipment
