Responsibilities
- Perform buildings and grounds maintenance and janitorial duties.
- Provide customer service through fee collection, camper registration, and sharing information about the park and surrounding area with the public.
- Assist with hiring and supervising seasonal park staff and volunteers.
- Support park operations by assisting with accounting and clerical duties.
- Provide maintenance support for the golf course as required.
Qualifications
• Experience working in parks or another outdoor-related field.
- A working understanding of facilities and grounds maintenance—or the ability to learn basic maintenance principles and skills (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and equipment maintenance).
- General accounting, cash handling, and point-of-sale experience.
- An outgoing personality with the ability to interact positively with both the public and park staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a small, remote town.
- Capacity to bring new ideas to help manage and promote the park.
• Experience with golf course maintenance or operations.
- Familiarity with local outdoor recreation attractions and park promotion.
- Additional certifications or training in park management, environmental conservation, or related areas.

This role provides the opportunity to work as part of a small team in a remote area of the state. Green River State Park is conveniently located near several national parks, national forests, the San Rafael Swell, and other premier outdoor recreation destinations. • Emergency First Responder, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogen certifications are required.
