As a Captive Insurance Examiner with the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation, you’ll be part of a world-class team monitoring the health and solvency of over 600 captive insurance companies domiciled in Vermont. You’ll contribute to building on Vermont’s gold standard reputation in the global captive insurance industry.
What You’ll Do:- Conduct ongoing surveillance, examinations, and analysis of captive insurance companies.
- Evaluate corporate governance, strategy, business plans, IT systems, internal controls, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct research, contribute to task forces, perform special projects, and participate in training.
- Critical Thinker: Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex information.
