Job Overview
The Vermont Veterans' Home is seeking Institutional Custodians. These positions include housekeeping and/or laundry duties. Housekeeping tasks involve mopping, sweeping, dusting, trash removal, cleaning of living spaces, and common areas. Laundry duties include laundering linens and personal clothing, sorting, and folding, delivery and pickup of laundry, as well as operation of laundry machines. The hours for these positions are 6am to 2:30pm and include working weekends and holidays. Flexibility is important as there may be times when you might be required to work 11am to 7:30pm to accommodate the needs of the facility.
