PSR Techs support the general milieu by providing supplies and materials for on-unit engagement and prepare and deliver sensory and activity boxes to support coping.Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of human growth, child development, and the family system.
- Knowledge of positive behavior management and behavior motivation techniques.
- Specialized knowledge in principles and techniques of group facilitation, fostering positive intrapersonal relationships, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to assess, plan, conduct, and document active treatment interventions for children and adolescents using multi-modal techniques, and ability to adapt activities and interventions to varying patient needs.
- Ability to evaluate and report children's progress to other clinical team members including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, therapists, and direct care staff.Additional Considerations
