Location: Toppenish, WA (This position provides support in the Ellensburg Office. Some travel between offices is required.)

Salary: $3,815 - $5,102 Monthly
We're looking for an Office Manager to lead facility coordination for the DCYF Field Operations Toppenish and Ellensburg Offices.

The Opportunity:
This position serves as the primary contact to liaison facility services and as the management team safety committee representative. You’ll provide direct support to managers, complete document preparation, and participate in budget/expenditure control, equipment/supplies purchases, and report preparation.
Some of what you'll do:
- Supervise office support staff.
- Serve as a liaison with landlords, contractors, vendors, and others regarding facilities maintenance.
- Monitor security systems as needed.
- Conduct training, assign and schedule work, and act on leave requests.
- Establish office procedures, standards, priorities, and deadlines.
- Perform complex secretarial duties such as ordering supplies, processing mail, reception duties, maintaining a central filing system, faxes, photocopying, and processing disclosure requests.
- Provide support to the social services staff.
- Coordinate work requests through the Area Administrator.
- Coordinate routine maintenance and oversee the scheduling of state vehicles.
- Coordinate the annual completion of office risk assessments and ensure procedural guidelines are met.
What we're looking for (Required Qualifications):
- Equivalent education and experience totaling five years of experience involving responsibility for planning, organizing, and coordinating work in a business office. One year must include supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's degree involving major study in business administration or a closely allied field AND one year of supervisory experience involving responsibility for planning, organizing, and coordinating work in a business office.
- One year of experience in State service as an Administrative Assistant 2, Human Resource Assistant 2, or Data Compiler 3.
- Two years in State service as an Administrative Assistant 1 or Human Resources Assistant 1.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of office organization, methods, and management principles, modern methods of performing various kinds of clerical work and measuring work production, office materials, supplies, and equipment; inventory control, records management, and supervisory techniques.
- Ability to plan, organize, and supervise central office services and assign, review, and coordinate work production.
- Ability to develop procedures for the most effective utilization of space, equipment, and personnel.

Incumbent must hold a valid driver’s license when operating a state or privately owned vehicle on official state business.
The incumbent must successfully complete formal training courses as required by law, policy, and regional requirements within one year of their appointment.
Degrees must be obtained from an accredited college or university whose accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or a foreign equivalent verified by a NACES-approved organization at naces.org.
