DSHS DDA Lakeland Village RHC Attendant Counselor 1/Direct Support Professional
We have immediate openings on three shifts for Direct Support Professionals at Lakeland Village Residential Habilitation Center. In this role, you will coach, teach, and mentor adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a homelike environment, working alongside a team of compassionate professionals who share your commitment to making a difference.
Some of what you will do:
- Perform personal care for adults, including hygiene, grooming, bathing and toileting
- Provide specialized direct care, support, and training
- Actively engage residents in all teaching opportunities to promote their maximum independence
- Provide intervention to residents with complex support and service needs
- Transport residents to appointments and activities on and off campus
- Document and report on care provided and any changes

Who should apply?
- Professionals with a High School Diploma/GED OR One year of experience working with people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities
- An existing Washington State Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus but not required

Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate. Opportunities performed on site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary. The successful hire will be offered a starting salary within the range of $21.26-$25.84 hourly.
