What to Expect
- Serve as the TEF vehicle and equipment inventory administrator.
- Analyze, report, and resolve equipment inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure receipt of proper legal documents as required and maintain such documents.
- Create and analyze the asset inventory reports every other year; distribute the inventory report to the TEF Superintendent and/or other appointed inventory control officers for completion.
- Follow up and ensure inventory is completed according to the TEF operating rules; be responsible for the establishment of new equipment categories.
- Serve as the department vehicle licensing specialist.
- Work with the Department of Licensing, regions, and vendors to complete and obtain all required documentation necessary to title and license the unit.
- Perform program-wide analytical and administrative functions for the TEF fleet, including fleet-related logistical support functions.
- Analyze fleet-related business functions, identify operational needs gaps, and recommend action.
- Serve as the equipment disposal specialist, coordinating disposal of TEF assets and verifying equipment sales revenue owed, received, and proper write-off of disposed assets.
Qualifications
- Three (3) years of administrative or managerial experience in a fleet operations environment.
- Database management experience, including experience using a FEMS and Fuel Management System.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to ensure information and communication is shared across the organization.
- Ability to use independent judgment in accomplishing assignments and managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve problems.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to travel to locations throughout the state which may include overnight stays.
- Skills to effectively research, analyze, and disseminate inventory or fleet data.
- Possess and maintain high standards of integrity and professional communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a state vehicle.
It is preferred that qualified candidates also have:
- Understanding of the process and/or paperwork required for titling and licensing equipment.
- Understanding of the equipment disposal process.
- Proficient with Microsoft Access.

- This position requires the ability to travel locations throughout the state which may include overnight stays.
- This recruitment may also be used to fill additional positions per business needs.
- This position offers flexible/hybrid remote work options. In office work will be required up to two days weekly.
- This position requires occasional in-state travel, including overnight stays, for processing paperwork for titling, licensing, and disposal of equipment.
- In addition to base salary, employees may be entitled to other forms of compensation depending on the type, duties, or location of the position.
