The Opportunity
What to Expect
- Gather invoices from all SCR TEF locations and enter financial transactions accurately and timely.
- Work with all Maintenance locations (Org’s) using auxiliary fuel in remote locations to track fuel consumption and associated costs per unit.
- Prepare payment vouchers using the Transportation Reporting and Accounting Information System (TRAINS).
- Coordinate with Headquarters Accounting & Financial Services for the creation of new vendors into TRAINS.
- Assist the Regional TEF Financial Analyst 3 as necessary.
- Advise staff of labor deadlines and requirements.
- Ensure correct coding on daily time sheets and post daily labor hours; identify problems and initiate corrections.
- Assist the TEF Superintendent and Equipment Technician Supervisors with administrative duties such as scheduling meetings/interviews, assisting with employee reimbursements, making travel reservations, preparing travel expense vouchers, Equipment fleet record keeping, and assisting with onboarding and off-boarding.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED certificate, or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience providing excellent customer service and skills to remain professional in all interactions.
- Two (2) years of general clerical, accounting, or fiscal experience.
- Proficiency with and ability to use basic functions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Possess strong attention to detail, especially in financial and accounting arena.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet key project deadlines consistently.

- This position offers flexible/hybrid remote work options, however in person work will be required at least fifty percent of work schedule.
- In addition to base salary, employees may be entitled to other forms of compensation depending on the type, duties, or location of the position.
