The Opportunity
What to Expect
- Empty trash receptacles, pick up litter, dispose of waste a commercial disposal site.
- Perform lawn maintenance to include lawn mowing, with push mower, gas powered weed eaters, edges, and other landscape maintenance.
- Inspect assigned rest area for vandalism, abandoned vehicles, and unauthorized use
- Professionally interact with the traveling public on a daily basis.
- Assist with providing information, possible vehicle issues etc.
- Clean and maintain recreational vehicle dump stations; ensure they are in good working order.
- Maintain and disinfect restrooms.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One (1) year of experience performing maintenance activities in a related field of work.
- Valid Driver’s License to legally operate a motor vehicle in the state of Washington.
- Washington State Flagging card (Must obtain within 6 months of hire.)
- CPR-AED First Aid card. (Must obtain within 6 months of hire.)
It is preferred that qualified candidates also have:
- One (1) year experience performing landscaping activities such as mowing, pruning, and fertilizing.
- One (1) year experience performing minor repair and maintenance of public buildings to include janitorial duties and plumbing/electrical systems.
- Experience utilizing computer software such as Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience operating an iPad.
- Knowledge on variety of cleaning agents and how to mix for effective cleaning
- Washington State Pesticide Applicator’s License

- The salary listed includes 10% assignment pay for this job class/location.
- In addition to base salary, employees may be entitled to other forms of compensation depending on the type, duties, or location of the position.
