Job Title: Office Assistant 2
Location: Tumwater, WA
Closes: February 6th, 2025, at 5 p.m. PST
This recruitment is to fill a non-permanent position that is on-call. Hours are scheduled one (1) month out and are based on the payroll calendar. Hours worked per week will vary based on agency needs but typically are 2-3 days, Monday - Friday.This position is not eligible to telework, as physical in-office presence is required to perform essential functions. The default assigned work location of all Parks positions – both on-site and telework eligible positions – is within the State of Washington. Frequency of onsite work will vary based on business and operational needs. Parks may choose, but are not required, to support out-of-state telework on a case-by-case basis.

The Payroll Department within Financial Services is a great place to work. We are a small, but mighty team that are committed to fostering a supportive and engaging working environment where team members are encouraged to learn and grow.Duties
Under the direct supervision of the Payroll Manager, this position will provide routine clerical office support for the Payroll Department.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Print and distribute timesheets.
- Enters data information from coded timesheet into the Human Resource Management System (HRMS).
- Files payroll and other related documents.
- Establish and prepare new files.
- Receives, sorts and distributes mail.
- Archives records.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduation or equivalent and one (1) year of clerical experience.
