As a Custodian 2, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our facility remains spotless and inviting. King County employees receive a 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary. Employees are also eligible to receive a free ORCA card for convenient transportation.
The shift for this position would be: 6:00am-2:30pm Friday - Tuesday with Wednesday and Thursdays off
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport and arrange furniture within the facility.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles regularly.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Clean sinks, toilets, and urinals in restrooms.
- Dust surfaces and clean windows to ensure a pristine environment.
- Pressure-wash outdoor walkways.
- Unclog toilets, sinks, and urinals as necessary.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A valid state driver's license is required.
- Six months to one year of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general, or building maintenance, or custodial work.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and follow written and oral instructions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
