Some of what you'll do
  • Function as the Primary Psychology Associate for assigned cottage caseloads and function as a  member of the Interdisciplinary Team
  • Assess, develop, coordinate, implement, and direct behavioral/psychological programs for Intellectually disabled and dually diagnosed individuals to maximize adaptive and appropriate behaviors and minimize the frequency/intensity of maladaptive behaviors
  • Participate in quarterly medication reviews, both formal and informal behavior programs/interventions to address identified behavior needs for intellectual disabilities
  • Train staff to implement positive behavior support plan techniques and all aspects of resident programming 
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, and our administration's regulations and laws
  • Will receive supervision in working successfully with residents within a residential habilitative center while concurrently nurturing clinical, supervisory, and leadership skills.   

What we're looking for
  • Experience working with individuals living with intellectual disabilities and dually diagnosed clients preferred 
  • Collegial, affable, and broad-minded team member open to learning and personal growth
  • Ability to intervene with individuals, families, and team members in a constructive problem-solving process
  • Skill in planning, developing, and implementing effective behavioral intervention strategies
  • Mastery of utilization of evidence-based best practices in behavioral/clinical programming 
  • Ability to generate quarterly and yearly behavioral reports and summaries from direct observation and rounding on cottages
  • Ability to work with and synthesize behavioral programming and data that makes meaningful changes in the resident’s lives 
  • Ability to synthesize monthly behavioral data and communicate changes as needed to the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team 
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with management, peers, clients, and the public

Who should apply? 
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Two years of post-master/post-doctorate degree experience in the field of Psychology supervised by a master's or doctoral-level clinician is preferred
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst preferred
  • Professionals with the ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, residents, and the public, as required to carry out the assigned duties of the position
