The Opportunity
As a key member of the Institution Business Service Administration team, this position plays a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient operation of Green Hill School and Harbor Heights. The incumbent will provide strategic leadership and supervision, establish comprehensive policies, define measurable outcomes, and set actionable goals. - Manage direct control of discretionary spending.
- Manage local facility funds, ensuring compliance with DCYF administrative policies and procedures.
- Review and approve all requisitions, purchase orders, and direct payments for necessity, fund availability, and purchasing authority.
- Manage staffing levels, including overtime, callback, and emergency staffing levels during an emergency or critical incident.
- Manage and direct facility client/personal service contracts.
- Negotiate and write contracts through coordination with executive team members and DCYF central contracts.

- Interpret State and DCYF accounting policies and procedures for managers, supervisors, and staff.
- Develop and implement fiscal processes, policies, and procedures necessary to support the business office.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate auditing procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and documentation requirements.
- Liaison with school districts on fiscal management issues.
