Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Wisconsin Women's Center System Warden, the Corrections Center Superintendent has overall responsibility for the Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center. This position promotes and maintains community liaison activities by developing a variety of community resources through community service projects, emergency government, police, judicial, and educational/vocational resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring programs (e.g. education, social services, treatment, etc.) overall security plan, policies and procedures for a facility to ensure safety and continuous operations are in accordance with administrative rules, legal mandates, directives, policies and procedures
- Directing and supervising professional and/or non-professional staff (e.g. assigning, evaluating, supervising the work of others; hiring, firing, disciplining, training, monitoring etc.)
- Developing and implementing overall security plan, policies and procedures for a facility to ensure safety and security
