About the Job
The Nursing Supervisor - Health Services Manager serves as the administrative and clinical leader of the Health Services Unit (HSU). This role requires a Registered Nurse with expertise in nursing care and health care management, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team within the HSU.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall administrative support and direction of the HSU
- Work within policies and procedures to ensure quality care meets community and regulatory health care standards
- Foster competency in practice, education, and professional development of assigned staff
- Ensure timely access to safe, high-quality care and identify barriers to care
Requirements
- Active unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin or another state participating in the Nurse Licensure Compact
- Experience providing direct nursing care to patients, financial management, and/or administration of a budget, overseeing nursing practice and/or patient outcomes, and supervisory experience
