There is an opportunity to gain clinical hours towards a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
This is a project position and does not lead to permanent employment. This position has an anticipated duration through to December 31, 2024, however it could be extended for up to 4 years.

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of the Wellness and Resilience, as part of the Comprehensive Health and Wellness Program (CHWP), in partnership with the Wisconsin National Guard (WI NG) Directors of Psychological Health (DPH), and as a part of a multidisciplinary team the Social Worker will provide services and support including individual, couple, family (not to include children under 18 years of age) and group therapeutic services to Soldiers and Airmen. The scope of this position includes assessments, treatment plans, referrals and advising to various stakeholders in the WI NG under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Salary Information
The classification used to fill these positions is Social Worker – Advanced (pay schedule and range 12-63).
Starting pay will be between $25.00 to $38.00 per hour ($52,000 to $79,040 annually), plus an excellent benefits package.
For current permanent state employees, pay will be set in accordance with the State Compensation Plan.
Job Details
This position has the following conditions of employment.
- After hire, the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a federal Common Access Card (CAC) for gaining access to federal computers and networks.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel throughout the State of Wisconsin.
- A 12-month probationary period is required.
Qualifications

- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW) from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
