The Department of Corrections is currently recruiting to fill a Corrections Program Supervisor position, located at Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center located in Union Grove, Wisconsin.
Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Center Superintendent, this position provides supervision of program staff and one program assistant; program development and direction for religious, social service and anti-criminal thinking programs; and group counseling in the area of anti-criminal thinking. This position will assume on-call responsibilities for the Center.
Salary Information

This position is in pay schedule/range 81-03 with a starting annual salary of $79,000 - $92,206 plus excellent benefits. Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the State Compensation Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. A twelve-month probationary period is required.

Job Details

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application.
The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment.
The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting.
This position is not eligible for remote work.
Qualifications

Minimally qualified applicants will have experience: Developing, implementing, and evaluating programs (such as treatment, clinical, social services, education, specialized programs, structured activities, etc.). Developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating standards, policies and procedures. Participating in multi-disciplinary teams or approaches in the development, implementation and review of programs.

In addition to the above, well qualified applicant will have experience: Performing supervision or lead worker related activities (e.g. assigning, directing, and/or evaluating work; disciplinary matters, hiring, providing training/mentoring, etc.)
