The Division of Adult Institution is recruiting to fill a Food Service Manager position. This position is based out of Columbia Correctional Institution (Portage, WI, Columbia County).
Position Summary
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for assisting the Food Service Administrator in the management of the food service program. Provides direct front line supervision of Corrections Food Service Leader 2’s in the preparation of food, distribution of food, equipment care, sanitation, and receiving. Conducts training for food service staff and persons in our care workers. Assumes overall responsibility for the Food Service Department in the absence of the Administrator.
Salary Information
This position is in pay schedule/range 81-04 with an annual salary of $42952 - 79144, plus excellent benefits. Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the State Compensation Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. A twelve-month probationary period is required.
