The Division of Adult Institution is recruiting to fill a Psychologist Supervisor position . This position is based out of Oakhill Correctional Institution located in Oregon, WI.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the overall administration and supervision of the Psychological Services Unit at Oakhill Correctional Institution (OCI). This oversight is accomplished in accordance with the priorities set by the Assistant Psychology Director as communicated by the Mental Health Director and the Psychology Director. The PSU Supervisor participates as part of the facility’s administrative team and collaborates with institution leadership to include the Warden and Deputy Warden. As such, the Psychologist Supervisor is responsible for the development, administration, supervision and coordination of all psychological services programs within the facility. This position supervises the Psychological Services Unit staff; develops staff development programs and provides training; provides direct services to offenders; provides consultation to institution administration and staff; administers the psychological services program to provide support services and ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines and program standards; and also manages an Affirmative Action Plan and Health and Safety program within assigned responsibility areas.
Salary Information
Starting salary is between $48.87 and $55.16 per hour , depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. Pay upon appointment for current or former State employees may vary and will be in accordance with language in the Compensation Plan, Statutes, and Administrative Code.
This career executive level position is included in pay schedule and range 81-02. A two-year career executive trial period may be required.
Additional Pay:
Employees in possession of a Doctorate of Psychology (or equivalent) may be eligible for supplemental pay of an additional $6.00 per hour ($12480).
Employees in possession of a permanent License to practice Psychology may be eligible for supplemental pay of an additional $5.00 per hour ($10400).
