Position Summary
ETF is in the midst of a long-term modernization effort. As a Quality Assurance Developer, you will play a critical role in the creation and maintenance of automated tests suites for our modern solutions. You will have a lead role in the development of automated test solutions, ensuring that essential IT systems work and perform consistently. You will be part of a dedicated team and collaborate with many stakeholders, including developers, system administrators, DBAs, DevOps staff, vendors, project managers, and business analysts to help ensure end-to-end quality of systems from conceptualization to delivery. Not only will you be deeply involved with hands-on test automation, but you will also improve and refine our test automation practices to ensure maximum value.

Salary Information
This position is in classification IS Systems Development Services Specialist (pay schedule/range 07-33), with an annual salary of $87,360.00 - $108,992.00 plus excellent benefits.
Pay for current and new state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan in effect at the time of hire.

Job Details
ETF offers hybrid remote/office work. If interested in hybrid remote/office work, this can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. The selected employee(s) must report to ETF’s office on the first day of employment. In addition, the employee may need to report to ETF once a quarter and on short notice as operational and project needs require. All employees are expected to be headquartered and work within the state of Wisconsin.
ETF does not sponsor work visas. Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States.

- Professional experience using at least one common testing tool (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, TestNG, Appium, etc.)
- Professional experience using at least one common scripting language (e.g., Python, Perl, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, etc.) and SQL
- Creating and executing End to End automated test plans for integrated systems with multiple components (e.g., apps that connect to other apps via API) that includes testing elements in both the user interface and the backend layer (e.g., logic, APIs etc.)
- Serving on a cross-functional team comprised of technical and business staff to define test plans and/or requirements
- Incorporating test automation into a CI/CD pipeline using a tool like GitHub or GitLab
- Leading the implementation of test automation process improvements or the development of test automation practices
- Leading teams of test automation developers
