The Department of Corrections Bureau of Health Services is recruiting for a Program Support Supervisor - DOC (Scheduling Supervisor). This position is located at Sturtevant Transitional Facility in Sturtevant, WI (Racine County) .

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the supervision of Medical Program Assistant staff within the Health Services Unit setting. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the day-to-day activities of Medical Program Assistant staff, including planning, organizing, scheduling, training and staff development. In addition, this role is responsible for maintaining Medical Program Assistant workflows and implementing and maintaining quality control measures.
This position will cover Sturtevant Transitional Facility, Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility, Racine Correctional Institution and Robert E Ellsworth Correctional Center. This position is required to travel between institutions.
Salary Information

This position is in pay schedule/range (81-04) with an annual salary of $54017 - $79144, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period is required.

Job Details

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application.
The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment.
The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting.
Shift: Monday- Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
Travel is required between institutions.
Qualifications

Minimally qualified applicants will have experience: Managing, leading, and/or overseeing the work of others (e.g. training, advising, reviewing work, etc.) Serving as a point of contact for patient scheduling Working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
