Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at State Protection Service inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security within a hospital environment, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations and hospital codes.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Evacuate individuals from the immediate area; direct personnel to follow fire protocols; assist with the evacuation if necessary.
- Assist in logistics and crowd control; prepare for potential evacuation if necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential security risks.
- Direct personnel and visitors to safe locations; provide updates to hospital administration; assist law enforcement as requested.
- Manage conflict situations effectively using conflict management techniques.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities.
- Regular drills will be conducted to ensure readiness and familiarity with procedures.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security or medical background is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications.
- Military experience or relevant certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
