State Steel Supply Co. is searching for an IT tech for our Sioux City location. Qualified candidates will have good general IT knowledge, able to troubleshoot and source solutions to hardware & software issues throughout multiple locations.

General Job Description:
Monitor and maintain programs and servers on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule.
Responsible for vendor relations for ISP and network issues. Monitors and troubleshoots network.
Responsible for reporting and dashboard development, able to maintain multiple databases.
Setup, troubleshoot and assist users on a timely and efficient basis across multiple platforms.
Support users working from home with hardware setup, phone and VPN.
Setup, maintain and troubleshoot the company’s Mitel phone system.
Reviewing e-mail system often for potential dangerous/fraudulent attempts and responding accordingly.
Responsible Hardware/Software upgrades and installation as necessary.
Orders supplies and approves expenses for IT. Responsible for IT inventory and printer supplies.
Programs utilized:
Barracuda Security, Salesforce, Metaltraq (linux based), IDrive, Windows/MacOS, Microsoft Office, Kronos HR/Payroll software and hardware, Outlook email, and Veeam among others.

Requirements:
2-4 year degree in Computer Science, Computing, Mathematics or Engineering preferred
5 or more years’ experience with networking, computers, server maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to work in an office setting Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. May be required to work off-hours when the office is closed to perform maintenance. This may include occasional nights and weekends.
