Responsibilities:
- Managing a team to analyze, design, develop, test, document, and implement large software deliverables
- Developing or modifying complex software optimized for performance
- Maintaining and supporting existing software applications
- Identifying and resolving complex application issues and bugs
- Analyzing and translating business requirements into technical specifications and designing effective technical solutions
- Executing projects to successful completion within budget and timeline
- Meeting or exceeding pre-defined SLAs
- Participating in client calls and projects as needed
- Performing other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field
- 10 years of experience managing global software development, testing, and support staff
- Experience translating large complex business requirements into technical design and executing it to successful completion
- Proficient in Open Systems COBOL development
- Proficient in Unix/Linux KSH scripting; Eclipse-based IDE development
- Experience with Github and other source code systems
- Execute resiliency, Lifecycle, and technology projects (ex: DR fail and stay, Refactor unsupported software)
- Advocate and implement best practices and improve team processes
- Experience in requirements analysis and system design
- Proven problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Experience with Design Patterns, Web Services, and Agile development methodologies
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly responsible
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communications skills
