State Street seeks to recruit an outstanding Cybersecurity Technical Project manager with 5-10 years of project management experience. The project manager will be responsible for simultaneously executing numerous cybersecurity-related projects which are varied and complex in nature. The project manager will also be responsible for managing teams to carry out  priorities of the Fusion & Security Organization enterpriseThis role will report to the Strategy & Operations Service Delivery, MD.What you will be responsible forAs Service Delivery Senior Project Manager, VP, you are a rock for our cybersecurity teams — someone they 100% trust to troubleshoot any risks or dependencies before they derail a project, as well as to give them bad news straight (but always with a solution in hand).    You are able to build project plans and timelines that account for contingencies before they arise – and able to gently-but-firmly guide our teammates and vendors to successful project completion.  In your role you will be responsible forManaging the overall project health, which includes scope, budget, change control and timeline.Managing teams and effectively delegating responsibilities to team membersOverseeing data analysis to scope and define project outcomesManaging complex budgets, including planning and forecastingContinuously reviewing, improving, and executing project management policies and proceduresCreating thorough and accurate reports and providing status updates on projects; presenting findings to senior leadership on a routine basisResolving varied problems and conducting internal audits as neededWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this role      Ability to communicate with and appropriately influence all levels of managementExcellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skillsExcellent project management skills, critical thinking and attention to detailExcellent problem-solving abilities and organizational / time management skills.Strong attention to detail and willingness to "roll up sleeves".Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.Ability to network and interact with a broad range of risk, compliance, audit teams and senior management.Intellectually curious and willing to invest time in researching areas outside current knowledge base / skill set.Education & Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 5-8 years relevant experience.Awareness of general concepts / principles of Risk Management and cyber securityHigh proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Additional requirementsCISA, CRISC or a CISSP is a plusPrevious experience in banking industry requiredWhy this role is important to usAbout State StreetWhat we do. State Street is one of the largest custodian banks, asset managers and asset intelligence companies in the world.
