Job Summary
The Deposit Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations for the Bank, as well as assisting Bank customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works closely with bank staff & customers to manage & respond to questions & issues
- Oversees returns, stops, maintenance, & sets up new ACH transactions
- Balances accounts for multiple bank applications
- Reviews loan payment account
- Enters Descriptions for General Ledger transactions
- Processes & confirms wires
- Processes account maintenance
- Processes ICS/CDARs transactions & balances accounts
- Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION &/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year experience in banking is required
MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit/stand/kneel/bend/for extended periods of time, lift up to 20 lbs. on occasion, ability to work under high pressure while remaining composed; the ability to utilize a computer & keyboard 80% of the time, possess a high level of accuracy, and have the ability to meet deadlines.
COMPETENCIES
Knowledge in banking is helpful, as is bank bookkeeping and/or accounting techniques and procedures. Proficiency with standard office equipment, Microsoft Office products, attention to detail, time management, ability to prioritize, organize, and problem solving are required.
