The Technology Risk, VP is a key role within the First Line Risk and Controls (FLRC) team. This team is responsible for driving effective technology risk management at State Street.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of specific aspects of the FLRC Regulatory Management Services (RMS) program.
- Manage global staff with expertise in regulatory finding remediations, work with Management to develop inventory remediation closure materials, and author impactful closing documents.
- Perform end-to-end development of regulatory finding closure materials, including inventorying supporting documentation and authoring/coordinating closing memoranda.
- Manage formal reviews of closure documentation across Lines of Defense (LOD) to ensure alignment and review/challenge.
- Provide advice on executive messaging, tone, and structure of closing memoranda, including impactful metrics to drive remediation progress.
Requirements
- Familiarity with managing global initiatives, including timelines, status, interdependencies, resource allocation, risk, and issues management.
- Evolving expertise in financial services, information technology, information security, systems development, change/release management, access security, and physical access controls/procedures.
- Able to solve complex problems with support from management and effectively balance multiple tasks through prioritization.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, IT Security, Risk Management, or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience with general risk management, auditing standards, and best practices.
